It looks attractive, so much better than an ugly, large, plastic compostor, and a much more appropriate size for a small space, and family. "Dear Primrose staff I am very pleased with the compost bin. It arrived on a day when the heavens had opened so my husband kindly assembled it in the kitchen. He then decided to give it an extra coat of Cuprinol before it goes outside to brave the elements. He used the clear variety as I wanted to preserve the lovely colour of the wood. I think we shall also fit a door knob at the base to lift the door more easily to get the compost out. (This is perhaps something which could be supplied as part of the kit) So far we are letting the bin air a bit before putting anything in it but I am sure it is going to get a lot of use and looks very attractive. A friend of mine has the same bin (she recommended it to me) and tells me that lawn cuttings do not seem to rot down very well. I think I shall also avoid things that take ages to rot down, e.g. woody stems, egg shells, thick skins, etc. as the bin is quite small and I don't have room in my garden for more than one so need the compost to be usable reasonably soon. So far, I am very happy with it, but if there are any problems I will let you know. Many thanks Mrs Diana Wiser"
